History - Community - Progress

Welcome to Hot Springs, a place where history, natural beauty, and a touch of legend come together. Long before it became a destination, these thermal waters were revered by Native American tribes for their healing qualities, setting the tone for a community rooted in wellness and connection. Established as the nation’s first federally protected land in 1832, the area grew into a renowned retreat, drawing visitors from across the country to its iconic bathhouses and serene landscapes. Over time, Hot Springs has blended its rich past—from luxury spa culture to its more colorful, storied eras—into a vibrant, welcoming community that continues to attract those seeking both relaxation and opportunity.
